FAQ

  • What’s the first step for getting a well drilled?
    Make a site visit appointment to evaluate the potential well location or relocation for the new well.
  • How to determine where to drill:
    Drilling wells for 92 years, we have accumulated well logs, history, and geography of the area and use this knowledge and expertise to help estimate depth, formations production rate of the well. In water-scarce areas historical data of the area and geology are important. Other considerations regarding the well site may include:
    • Septic location on the property and adjacent parcels;
    • Proximity to power and structures;
    • Clearance from roadways, property lines, and hazards.
  • How deep will I have to drill for water?
    It’s variable and depends on the geology.
  • How long does the well drilling process usually take?
    The time required for permit approval is determined by the County Permitting Department and will depend on specifics of the property and department workload. We handle the permit and work with the health departments in the North Bay. A domestic well can take on an average of one (1) to three (3) days depending on the depth, formation, and geology.
  • How much water will my well produce?
    There is no way to determine the production of well until after it has been completed and tested.
