In water-scarce areas historical data of the area and\u00a0geology are important. Other considerations regarding the well site may include:\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Septic location on the property and adjacent parcels;<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Proximity to power and structures;<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Clearance from roadways, property lines, and hazards.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>How deep will I have to drill for water?<\/strong>\r\n<br>\r\nIt&#8217;s variable and depends on the geology.\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>How long does the well drilling process usually take?<\/strong>\r\n<br>\r\nThe time required for permit approval is determined by the County Permitting Department and will depend on specifics of the property and department workload. We handle the permit and work with the health departments in the North Bay.
